Each of our posts is related to our primary categories which are Dining, City Spots, We Try It, Hiking, Mountains and Tranquility. We will endeavor to apply this rubric fairly and equally to all locations we write about.
Each category will use a 1-5 rating in four specific areas which are then combined into a total score for the location. This results in a lowest possible score of 4 and highest possible score of 20.

- Service (1-5): Friendliness, attentiveness, and knowledge of the staff.
- Ambience (1-5): Atmosphere, cleanliness, and comfort of the dining area.
- Value for Money (1-5): Price relative to the quality and quantity of food.
2. City Spots
- Entertainment Value (1-5): Fun, engaging activities, and attractions available.
- Accessibility (1-5): Ease of getting there, public transportation options, and parking availability.
- Safety (1-5): Overall safety and security of the location.
- Unique Features (1-5): Special characteristics that make the spot stand out.
3. We Try It
- Innovation (1-5): Uniqueness and creativity of the experience or product.
- User Experience (1-5): Ease of use, enjoyment, and customer support.
- Results (1-5): Effectiveness and satisfaction with the outcome.
- Recommendability (1-5): Likelihood of recommending the experience or product to others.
4. Hiking
- Trail Quality (1-5): Condition, signage, and maintenance of the trail.
- Scenery (1-5): Beauty and variety of natural views.
- Difficulty Level (1-5): Appropriateness of the difficulty for the intended audience.
- Facilities (1-5): Availability of amenities such as restrooms, water stations, and shelters.
5. Mountains
- Scenic Beauty (1-5): Visual appeal and breathtaking views.
- Outdoor Activities (1-5): Range and quality of available activities like climbing, skiing, etc.
- Wildlife (1-5): Presence and diversity of wildlife.
- Accessibility (1-5): Ease of access to the mountain and surrounding facilities.
6. Tranquility
- Serenity (1-5): Peacefulness, quietness, and lack of disturbances.
- Natural Surroundings (1-5): Quality and beauty of the natural environment.
- Comfort (1-5): Availability and quality of accommodations, if any.
- Rejuvenation (1-5): Ability to relax, unwind, and refresh the mind and body.
